Needing short term diet

Hi

I have a interclub in muay thai in just over 3 weeks.

I currently weigh about 8 pounds more than i need too.



I am willing to diet alot and i exercise regularly. Is is possible for me to make this weight?


By the way, it is a same day weigh in so dehydrating myself is not possible.
 
You can cut 8 lbs in a day, why worry about it so much if its 3 weeks away?

I don't know why you'd be cutting for an interclub fight. Fight at whatever you weight at, unless you're going to have problems finding an opponent.

If you really must cut, you can probably get away with losing just a few pounds of fat over the next 3 weeks, and then dehydrating slightly for weigh ins. Unless you fight immediately after stepping on the scale, you can rehydrate a few pounds pretty quickly.
