I'm a traditional Jiu Jitsu guy that desperately needs to learn how to wrestle, something with an MMA/BJJ focus that deals with avoiding chokes and getting your back taken, stuff like that. Anybody know of any resources that can help me? Books, dvd's, websites? Cheaper is better, and free is best. Thanks

Ever tried asking a HS wrestling coach to train with the team? When I move I may do the same.

Difficult to get good at something without training at it in real life. Where do you live?

flow wrestling.com is a great site , or watch some billy robinson on youtube

Yah books and DVDs won't teach you anything unless you're learning it on the mat from someone with experience in that field. Books are more or less just useful as a refresher on what you meant to work that day for standup grappling, I've found.

No former wrestlers at your gym? Figured they'd be at least one.
