The house I'm living in took away the WiFi because people were downloading copyrighted content, I'm currently posting on my friends phone.

Do I need a Hotspot? Or should I get a phone plan and tether it to my laptop? What plan should I use?

I live in Los Angeles and my zip code is 90001

I want a Unlimited plan.

Edit: I bought this router that lets me put my sim card in to use it as a hotspot, gives better speed then a actual hotspot.

I'm using a unlimited 3g plan from T-Mobile for $30 a month and I get enough speed to watch 480p videos on youtube.

Using your cellphone as a wifi hotspot is not a long-term solution. You will get spotty service and you can forget about streaming. Eventually, your cellphone carrier is going to start charging you extra. The idea of an "unlimited plan" is a trick.

Just get internet service put in your name.

Also, just say your mom took away the internet to punish a group of adults in the house. LOL

Gizmo got caught d/ling porn.

Yo bro, can I borrow your phone for a minute? I’ve got some important people I need to talk to.

If you get in a bind and need emergency wi-fi I'm pretty sure most hotels can accomodate you. I've had to sit outside a motel a time or two in need of internet. I know most restaurants are closed.

I am thinking of getting this unlimited plan by H20 for $60. Is this a good deal?

https://www.h2owirelessnow.com/plan/monthly

I'm also thinking of getting this h20 hotspot

www.amazon.com/H2O-Prepaid-Mobile-Hotspot-Bundle/dp/B011QW4858/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=hotspot+h2o&qid=1589488674&sr=8-1

Not a good deal when you read the terms:
  • 1 Download speeds max of 8Mpbs (LTE)/4Mbps (4G). Videos stream at DVD Quality (480p).
  • 30 GB LTE Data limits apply to total usage on the $60 Monthly Unlimited plan, including hotspot usage. Once LTE Data has been depleted, hotspot is available at 2G speeds. Device connection limit varies by hotspot device.
It's slow to start with and once you've used your 30gig the "unlimited" slows down to 2G speed.

You guys really take it in the ass on your data plans.

The house you're living in shut down your Wifi? What?!

Judging by all your threads, I thought you were a multi-millionaire with your 3 Ph. Ds.

And just like that a Sherbro was raped by another sherbro for the very first time.

I called T-mobile and they said they have a deal(that's not available online) that gives me unlimited 3G for $30/month and it comes with a hotspot for $65.

I'm buying this Tmobile deal but if the 3G is not fast enough I'm going to give it to someone who lives with me and get the 4G deal from H2o.
