New Orleans is worthy of a quick vacation.

Eat and drink yourself into oblivion, pay a lot less than you would in Las Vegas. Just don't get robbed.

Should have mentioned I’m going with my wife. She likes the Vegas idea but she doesn’t gamble and is not a big drinker. So the idea of going to any city without a beach gives me a feeling like wtf are we going to do all day?

Yeah the crime is definitely a factor. Place looks fkn seedy but I heard if you stay in French quarter you’re golden

That's awesome. I'd go and hang at the beach all day. Go get fresh food and do some snorkling. Vegas is overrated to me, it's boring. Go to the upper midwest or kentucky or tennessee

Stay in the Four Seasons, has a lovely deco pool. Or the San Ysidro ranch, which was one of the options for our wedding venue.
