Need Help/Advice

I know the Sherbros don’t like long drawn out stories , so I am going to cut to the chase....someone in our neighborhood is poisoning outdoor wildlife and cats...

In the last three weeks, two dead Ferrell cats that we have fed for years, one Possum and a Racoon...There is a sick Fuck and it’s one of my neighbors, I am sick to my stomach right now.

I have some ideas who it Might be, but no proof...My wife is heartbroken and I feel like kicking down some doors...

No bullshit, anyone have any ideas as to an agency that would give a shit and do something? Or any other help is appreciated, Thanks..

What makes you think a person is doing it? Rabies not a possibility? Natural causes?

I don't know exactly how that would be investigated/prosecuted, but when I was a teenager I caught a shithead from the neighborhood throwing rat poison in my yard. I had two dogs. I showed up at his house and beat his ass.

So basically, find whoever is doing it and fill the room with uppercuts. 100% guarantee the poisoning stops there.

Cats have been acting pretty much normal, no odd behavior (rabies) in ten years at this location never found a dead animal...Cats usually go and isolate if they are sick, These animals have just dropped in the middle of our driveway/ yard..

Yea that's weird. But throwing the raccoons in there makes me wonder. Animals can get sick just from raccoon shit cant they?

A few people feed Ferrell cats in the neiborhhood, who ever is doing it is not targeting a specific animal. In a suburban setting if you put down a bowl of food, any number of animals might eat from it. Whoever the fucker is , they are just putting out poison laced food at night, whoever eats from it has died..

Yep.

Heres an idea, get with the neighbors you know, and collectively dont put any food out for x amount of time, and make note of the people that do. If it happens again, that may narrow it down?

I hope you are joking...? While i sympathise with your sentiment, that line of action would only make @genecop look like a total lunatic, and possibly cast suspicion on himself.

Agree with the police report though (file one), and making it a communal thing, involve the neighbours that are trustworthy. Also maybe report to animal abuse agency? They would know the right legal action to take, and probably have ressources the police may not immidiatedly allocate.

Whatever is killing the animals may soon start killing people. Wildlife is dying outside, but children and domestic animals also play outside. A police report would probably help. If it does not involve people it will be lower priority. If it was one of my neighbors, I would catch him/her without much trouble. The rest I can't go into detail because I'll get a 'yellow'. Good luck...
