Yes, Defense would be horrendous. Three of those guys are below average shooters.

Dirk had a near Curry or Kobe effect on defenses in terms of how they had to gameplan and his gravitational pull, when he had the ball that is....

Not sure that is effective with a ball dominant guy like Kobe present, although that just means hes the Gasol and not Kobe in that duo situation

Theres a reason he was more effective as the main focus, than when he had Nash and prime Finley prior.

I was thinking about the ball distribution too. Don't think Kobe would be willing to play off ball. The coach would probably have to limit the minutes those two will be on the floor together.

Thinks it's a bad move imo. I like that he is willing to think outside the box but having a reliable agent is incredibly important. He shouldn't really be negotiating his own contract

im usually an nba draft nerd but i really dont much about this years crop outside of lamelo ball who ive watched a ton of. Hes legit, holds his own at ucla invite only runs with nba guys. His ball handling and athleticism has come long ways. Be interesting to see him get pushed hard because he has such a lackadasical manner about him but you never see him flustered or get dominated, its like he plays just as hard as he needs to and no more but has the skills to ramp it up when the moment calls. His jumper is the big question.

read that the sg anthony edwards who most predict to go #1 has his passion being questioned. Radio people were saying hes never won at any level (i havent fact checked that) and that he never seems angry or upset when he losses.
