Hah the NBA's review of calls is out and cHeat indeed got fucked

https://official.nba.com/l2m/L2MReport.html?gameId=0041900301

This was decided as IC (Incorrect Call):
Comment: While Jones Jr. (MIA) is already driving toward Smart (BOS), who is in a legal guarding position in his path before the contact, Walker (BOS) veers into Jones Jr., increasing his momentum and driving him through Smart's space.

This was INC (Incorrect Non-Call):
Comment: Tatum (BOS) gathers the ball on his right foot while progressing and hops on the same foot, and then lifts his pivot foot before releasing his dribble.

This was IC:
Comment: Dragic (MIA) cleanly deflects the basketball, any additional foot-to-foot contact with Walker (BOS) is deemed to be incidental.

Love how ESPN is ignoring the blatant friendly/rigged for Celtshits last night. Celts draw up an illegal play of Kimbo pushing DJJ into a Shart flop, Tatum goes to the ground then just gets up and shaats as if that's not a blatant by-the-rulebook travel, yet silence from ESPN today and even during the game (Boris Derp was too busy droning on about whether Crowder deserved FTs for getting pushed on a jumper). These were literally two of the most important plays of the game, two final possession plays in regulation and OT lol

Not to mention Herro's clean strip of Kimbo that got FTs, but even Boris couldn't believe that call

I was honestly surprised bams block wasn’t called a foul lol. I mean it obviously wasn’t but the refs were brutally incompetent.

‘71 lakers? ‘04 lakers? ‘83 sixers?
04 Lakers: just Shaq and Kobe and Kobe's home grown. Not a Super Team.

71 Lakers: seems mostly home grown guys.

83 76ers: Dr J had already been there 8 years and all they added was Moses. You need 3 Franchise Players to be a Super Team, so doesn't count

Looked clean to me (no foul) and can't complain but it seems like the ball was over the cylinder a little bit. Wouldn't that be goaltending.

Yup. Pretty good read. We all knew the Clippers had no chemistry while the Lakers were going all in building it. Kiwi and PG kept taking days off, expecting to turn it on for the yoffs. Maybe you do that when you are 2 or 3 years in with the same team and are a polished machine. To do that in your first year? Lol... Not when the majority of the roster has turned over and it's your first season with two stars together.

The Lakers have been playing with a chip on their shoulder and doing everything they could to work on chemistry and unity, under veteran leaders. Kiwi and PG were taking days off, considering themselves crowned. That was the feeling I got mid season and commented on a few times. Doc Rivers was brutally exposed and ethered as well which doesn't help...
I don't think Doc was exposed because he's always been mediocre and constantly falls apart.

Reading about the Clippers collapse is so damn satisfying after their series with Dallas. It's even more satisfying to those who watched them talk all year and expect to coast while having earned nothing.

To the Nugs.

In the second round.

Not even a Canference Finals where they could say they almost made it.

They still would have won in 5 had Doc not terribly managed the game tbh. But at least now my Lakes will coast to the finals.

dude what are u talking about? you can make up whatever arbitrary criteria fits ur goofy statement but the ‘08 celtics isn’t the first example of a HOF’er joining a great team to win a ring. it isn’t even the first time 2 HOF’ers joined a great team. 2004 lakers added karl malone and gary payton lol

Super team is 3 superstars in their prime who assemble like the Avengers. Everyone knows this.

Malone and GP were already over the hill when they went to the Lakers in 2004. No longer franchise superstars. Nice "goofy" try.

Everyone except Wikipedia I guess. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superteams_in_the_National_Basketball_Association

According to your definition the only Superteams ever are those Celtics, and Lebron’s Heat and his Cavs return?

Lol @ Carlishit being a good coach. He even admitted he ran no plays during their trophy run. They would have been swept off the playoffs if it wasnt for HOF KIDD who did all the coaching on and off the court. That bullshit i hear of dirk being the only allstar on that team is as stupid as cowboy fans. Dallas wouldn't have shit if it werent for KIDD...

When you have Kidd you don't call plays moran

the more years go by, the more i'm actually amazed the ORL Magic made the finals w/ Dwight Howard as their lead guy

Obviously the supporting cast was low key solid, but even in his prime his offensive skillset was Montrezl Harrell-esque

That's astonishing really
