But seriously, I made a post on RealGM last week about how a dominant midrange scorer is still the greatest ceiling raiser in the game because their ability to get their efficient (for them) shat whenever they want is the most halfcourt playoff resilient kind of scoring. Just look at the best ceiling raisers and most reliable yoff scorers over the years:

Kwi
Durant
LeBron
Dirk
Wad
Kooby

And then of course the GOAT Miguel. Even Bird and Magic were midrange dominant

I was just thinking about that. Imagine if Houston had MJ, would they tell him no mid range? I agree with you on that. All those names you listed are champions also.

And it's not a coincidence that none those guys are known for collapsing in the yoffs like Staph or Hardcan. It's a lot easier to scheme against a 3pt attack than a midrange monster who can catch the ball outside the arc and then go get his shat whenever he wants. And beyond that there simply far less variance to an automatic midrange game than there is to a 3pt reliant scorer, and in highly pressurized deep yoff series, variance is a killer

I favor the clips, largely due to 3pt shooting and enough large bodies to spam at AD

But I'm not too confident in that either certainly wouldnt bet on it

Ive been saying Lakers are taking it all season if healthy. He wanted to do a bet earlier and he was on the Clips

I didnt want to bet at that time (middle of regular season) since AD or Bron couldve gotten injured and then itd look dumb betting

now that both teams are healthy, I hope he isnt scared to bet
