Serious question, who's the Lakes' 3rd best offensive player? Kuzma? 33yo slumping Dunny? Meanwhile the Flerps are stacked with high-level role players; Trez, Lou, Morris, Jackson, hell even Shamet would likely be the Lakes' best choice for 3rd option

The Flerps are just on another level with depth of talent and it's not like LeQing/Canthony are that much better than Kwi/Raul

Yeah the bubble has worked out much better than I thought it would.

I guess it's almost time for the traditional Game 1 loss for the Raps. I mean, they'll smoke the Nets in five, but if you've got some money to throw down, today is the day for the underdog.

Donny always shows up in the yoffs. I don’t want to hear anyone slander this dude anymore.
Yeah he’s playing really well. It’s a bit concerning for the jazz though that they have a dude throw up 52 pts and almost a triple double, and they’re still going to OT. All that and his team can’t help him get the W

This feels like March Madness with the early start time and a back and forth game. Too bad Utah is blowing it in OT.

Also I have a strong feeling about Mavs beating the Clips tonight, maybe even winning the series.

Honestly it’s quite fun. Ever since the nba came back the games were played HARD. I sometimes feel like everyone’s playing lightly and not going hard. Not playing stars etc.... It’s been extremely competitive from the second they got back and I love it

Mitchell trying to compete on his own against 3-4 great players. Unfortunately he just does not have enough help to keep up

3rd best offensive player? Kuz Easily. In the bubble he’s averaged 15.4ppg and is shooting 44.4% 3fg. He’s only had 1 bad game in the bubble.

and look at the 4 head to head games lakers vs clips.

game 1 lebron and Davis both were garbage and couldn’t shoot and it wasn’t The clips defense, they were just off being dared to shoot. they combined for 3 points in the 4th qtr of that game despite Both playing Majority of it. The other lakers loss in the second matchup was lakers up damn near the entire game Beginning to end before losing it late. Then lakers won the next 2 and that includes the bubble game where both Leonard and George played great while lebron had a terrible 6-19 shooting game.

lakers are all about defense anyways. Avery Bradley was huge part of that but the true lakers Strength is interior defense. Davis, McGee and Dwight are all locking up the paint. Clips are deeper for sure though.

my biggest concern for lakers is the new guys dion waiter, jr Smith, and markieff Morris are all gunners who take bad shots and if they aren’t falling then things can get ugly. Caruso, green and kcp have all taken a clear step backwards in the bubble from their reg season play. I’m just hoping they figure it out.

and don’t underestimate the mamba motivation running deep in that locker room

I can’t see the Nuggets winning that game if Utah had Conley and Bogdanovic, pretty unlucky considering they made good moves picking those two up.

I know Donovan Mitchell was great, but how fucking HUGE was that dumb ass 8 second violation with less than 2 min to go in regulation. Zero pressure defense and he was just walking with it and was good 10 feet from half court when the shot clock hit 15. Just inexcusable and cost the Jazz the game,
