Ok, now watch the tape and GP was the most underrated guard in the history of the game both on and off the ball

Statistical analysis is the laziest form of comparisons imo

Of course, they matter. It's just a surface level of analysis though.

I'm not saying you're pro IT or GP btw, just a random thought

GO WATCH THE TAPE

GO WATCH THE TAPE

It's not even a joke, when I was a kid I used to be in awe at his anticipation and his understanding of the game. People looked at his defense in ISO but the way he blew up the pick n roll was ridiculous. The pressure he applied in clutch situations was ALWAYS ramped up. He was a bit like Steve Nash where he was hella coordinated but looked a little awkward mechanically. Still balled out though.

I was a 6'1 white kid wanting to have that swagger, intelligence and energy of GP.

Lol at 6’1.

Just checking in to see if the Raptors are still the champs.

Yup, they're still the champs.

In 2001, the eastern all star team included:

Anthony Mason
Theo ratliff
Antonio Davis
Dikembe mutombo

Ugh

RIP to an ATG

He retired less than 10 years ago but apparently he had a very aggressive form of dementia called Lewy Body syndrome. This is what Robin Williams was suffering from when he decided to end it.

My bust. I remember Thomas was going to be on the 1994 winter Olympic team and later he was listed as inactive due to injury.

Classic playoff match-up, 1998 Chicago at Utah game 1

Basketball is in the Summer Olympics

As if the East wasn't weak outside of 2 teams in Jordans era? It was probably weaker lmao

LOL
Cool. He made the yoffs and put up like 35 a game

Lebron missed both his first two seasons

This whole "jordan losing in the first' argument is embarrassing by anyone that touts it

Jordan also missed the yoffs late in his career in the LEAST in the same era

What is more embarassing? A kid who misses the Yoffs or the "GOAT" missing them in the same era?

40 year old jordan on the wizards?

PRIME lebron got swept in the finals twice, guarded 4 FMVPs himself in losses, and got destroyed by a Dwight Howard led Magic

Midget Iverson won a game from then undefeated Lakers. Getting swept in the Finals is the most pathetic thing ever.

Pretty sure neither jordan or LeBron embarrassed themselves.

both among the greatest to ever play, but cans on the internet use words like “embarrassing” to describe them. Lmao!

Good enough to make it, good enough not to get swept

Theres a reason Finals sweeps are rare

Carry on, as you were

PRIME LEBRON GOT SWEPT IN THE FINALS VS THE BEST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE NOT BOUNCED BY A BUNCH OF REAL ESTATE AGENTS IN THE FIRST
