Jordan is better than Lebron, agreed!

However there is something to be said about longevity and consistency at the top, Lebron putting on the mileage at that top 3 level for that long, unmatched

Lebron going to 8 consecutive finals, with all the olympics in between is pretty good, certainly #2 without question

didn't take a mid career vacation, either

8 consecutive finals and never sniffed a 3 peat

I'm not dogging Lebron. Its extremely hard to 3-peat in the NBA

Not even the Warriors could do it with those stacked teams

Makes it even more incredible that MJ did it twice

george karl deserves credit for 1 of jordan's rings for being too stupid to put gary payton on MJ until after they were down 0-3 in the series. Prime glove locked jordan's ass up. In games 4-6 which is when payton got switched onto jordan, jordan proceeded to average 24ppg on 36% shooting with more turnovers than assists (11 to's--10assists) while playing 42 min/game.

NBA TV is showing games from the 1995 yoffs today

People forget how beastly that Sonics team was. Swarming, athletic defense, without a big guy in the middle.

I think they were the best out of the 6 teams the Bulls beat in that decade.

I know you guys are all deep throating MJ these days, but yesterday I came in from smoking a J on the deck... to walk in and see Cavs GSW game 7, 4th Q was on in my living room. Forgot how epic this series was and how big everyone performed right down to the last two minutes. Had that college ball feel where it was all going to be decided by one or two possessions. Probably one of the GOAT moments in sports history. LeBron (top 2 player all time) coming back from 3-1 in the Finals to end the 73 win (GOAT regular season) team. Honestly gave me chills.

I don't think we hype this series as much as we should. This game 7 is probably one of the GOAT games of the past 15+ years.

Teams combined for 31 pts on 11-38 shaating in that 4th qtr, basically a war of attrition to determine who wanted it less. Beautiful stuff

This game is on right now, vintage Dream/Glide

This plus Rodman are the reasons for the second 3peat

After hearing the details of Scottie Pippens contract I am honestly a lot less impressed. It's still the GOAT achievement in sports, but In modern day terms it would be like having Paul George on a 5m/year deal for the next decade next to prime Kobe.

First, let me acknowledge that you just compared Playoff loser PG to top 50 player all time Pippen

Second,

True.

I'm just mad that Adam Sliver got robbed of his finals MVP award.

I think they might actually give it a go on resuming the season. Now with testing in place I fear they'll be shutting it down after the first postive though. Not a big Lebron fan but I feel bad he might be robbed at a chance to add to his legacy.

Legacy of getting bodied by WC teams in the yoffs

I do think the season will be resuming at some point. Would love for them to just jump to a condensed yoffs with best of 3 rounds until the Finals
