Big win for the Mavs tonight. Bertans added three 3's, Dinwiddie struggled but added 5 assists and 4 points. Between the two of them we probably got more than Porzingas would have anyhow because he would have been on the bench.

Pretty beautiful handle for a guy so big, damn. I agree that moving Porzingas is the move. I think the pieces they brought in are a little under valued and Washington was a nightmare chemistry and team wise. Too many changes, too many people competing for minutes, poorly built. At least moving on from Porzingas you are likely to get some more games out of the other players. A guy with his frame and injury history terrifies me.

Porzingis seems incredibly skilled but he's so tall, and so thin, I don't see how he won't be injury prone for the rest of his career. I guess you could point to KD and say he's tall and thin but KD is not 7'3".

Probably the guy who won a title the closest to "alone", might be Dirk. Was there even an All Star on that 2011 team? That has to be one of the most outrageous Finals runs in history if you consider who he had to play along the way and who he had for help.

Yup , pretty sure every team they beat had at least 50 wins and Future Hall of Famers. Dirk was the Lone Star (Heh) but the Dirty work of Chandler and Marion as well as the timely offense of Kidd , Terry and Peja and especially the Midget Andrew Bynum almost killed created a perfect storm of Chemistry, plus Carlisle just out coached everyone that post season.
Edit , they Beat the Blazers in the 1st round who won 48 games, for the life of me I thought they also played The Spurs , but Memphis upset the Spurs making the West wide open, especially after Dallas upset the Lakers who were looking for a 3 peat.
