Seems like a random thing to claim. Mavs don't have the resources to trade for gAyD. I guess they could offer C. Wood, THJ, and a pick or something but damn.

I mean AD is made of paper mache and can see the Lakers benifitting from this trade. They have no draft picks for quite awhile. It probably won't happen like most of these rumors but I could see where they'd be coming from. With his reputation getting rid of him is only going to get more difficult as he enters his 30s.

If they trade AD it means they have given up on the LeBron era(which they should have already done if not for their obsession with relevance).

I despise the Lakers but their GM keeps finding a way to worm out of inescapable situations wouldn't put anything past him.

Some people are saying the plan is something like a sign and trade in the offseason, Kyrie for AD. The thought of that is making Mavs fans on Twitter spaz out.
