Lakers getting destroyed by the Bulls.

Street Clothes AKA Anthony Davis put up the quietest 20 points ever.

Imagine what we would have done with Vuc tonight.

Lonzo is 27/7/7 and 7/9 from three. Against the Lakers. Washington is 10-3 led by former Lakers. Fuck the Lakers!!!

They can't develop players for shit!
D'Angelo Russell leaves the Lakers and makes an All Star team immediately, same with Ingram. Lonzo turns it around pretty quick outside of LA.

I don't know if it's the franchise or the market putting too much pressure on them. Outside of Kobe, they develop much talent in the last 25 years?

based on what happened in Chicago w/ him vs Jimmy Butler and Wade, it seems Rondo is a man of the people and looks out for the younger guys and butts heads with arrogant self-absorbed assholes. Dwayne Wade was kinda throwing the young guys under the bus in interviews and acting like he was above them, Jimmy was being Jimmy.

He had a pretty disastrous run in Dallas, but otherwise, teammates rave about him.
Tbf that was a pretty sorry ass bulls team talent wise and the little talent they did have didn't gel at all. I honestly can't believe Paxson and Foreman lasted so long.

Not really. Every great once in a while a bench guy plays well and carves out a role there while Lakers fans go ape shit over that player and act like he's automatically some hidden gem. Then they start talking about him like he's the best trade bait for a great player they need who wants it and... I digress.

If you look at the guys who have thrived outside of the pit of pressure and poorly run analytical and developmental departments its pretty sad.

Kuzma is averaging a double double on Washington, along with KCP and Harrell, who are all playing seminal roles and helping Washington to an unforseen 10-3 start.

Randle was an NBA all team player last year who led the Knicks to the playoffs while averaging a double double. As you said, Russell was an All-Star. Lonzo actuality worked with shot doctors with the Pellies and changed his shot, while showing he's a top tier defensive player and contributor. Ingram is on that horrible, injury riddled Pelicans team but would possibly be an All-Star on another team.

My point is, the Lakers are lucky big name players want to play for them and hold teams hostage because of where the franchise resides geographically and what that provides. They don't develop players well. Without Bron and Rich Paul, they'd still be on an all time franchise low right now, barely scraping by.

Oh and... Fuck the Lakers.

First off go fuck yourself.

But yeah, the Lakers are bad at being patient and hiring people for developing young players . Part of that is expectations being high right off the rip plus the distraction of being a Los Angeles Laker in L.A.

Without being appealing to Big name Free agents that want to improve a Brand , L.A would have a rough time.

People knew guys like randle, Russell, kuzma, lonzo, Ingram could ball. They just needed some time and consistent roles. Once lebron James and Anthony Davis called, the Lakers had to give up pieces and re-prioritize things and good pieces were sacrificed. It’s easy to kick the Lakers right now while they are down, but it was just 13 months ago that they won the championship. People are acting like the process failed lol

I don't know about the past but currently its Lebald that's the problem. He's in control of everything and everyone. Some call him the General Manager of the Lakers, that's how much he controls. So I'm not sure how people can blame anyone but him.

It is LeGM.

It's because the Buss family is broke and won't spend any of their actual money to hire better development coaches because that money comes out directly from their pockets. The warriors were the same way until last season, when they finally gave in and hired a list player development coaches. Now of they could only scout better...

This is true and one of the main reasons I wish the Buss family would sell. When all your fortune is made of up of owning a team you usually don't spend on fringe things to make your team better. Dr. Buss is probably rolling in his grave with how shitty his kids have ran the franchise.

They could get at least 6 billion if they sold, not sure what's the point of holding on at this point. Balmer might even dissolve the sorry ass clippers for a chance to buy the lakers.
