Porzingas was supposed to have the best off season of his life where he got into great shape but then he's injured in about 3 games. Brunson is limited because of his height but is a legit point guard that could start for a lesser team, but you're right, the Mavs have a serious lack of firepower. Luka's #2 right now is Tim Hardaway Jr and as much as I like Hardaway Jr., its not a good look.

Porzingas was supposed to have the best off season of his life where he got into great shape but then he's injured in about 3 games. Brunson is limited because of his height but is a legit point guard that could start for a lesser team, but you're right, the Mavs have a serious lack of firepower. Random tidbit I saw. Giannis turns 27 in December. Embiid turned 27 in March . Giannis was drafted a year before Embiid but has played in 597 regular season games compared to 267 for Embiid . Embiid has steady improved his availability but man Giannis is a Mutant when you consider that he covers way more ground on defense and attacks in transition way more often and is only giving up an Inch to Embiid. Embiid is listed at 280lbs and Giannis 242, I highly doubt Giannis is only 242 though

Different guys are just built different. Giannis might be one of these guys that just plays and plays. Its crazy to think about Jordan played all 82 games 9 times and at least 80 games on two other occasions. To put that into perspective, Lebron has played all 82 games in just one season out of 18.

I get up this morning to see the Lakers have lost to the Thunder...again. Thunder are 2-6 with their only two wins coming against the Lakers. Is LeBald really hurt or were the Lakers trying to give him time off against teams they should beat so he will be fresh for the entire season and playoffs? Load management or really hurt?

Other surprising early notables are the defending champion Bucks are 4-4, the Atlanta Hawks are 4-5, the Denver Nuggets are 4-4, and the L.A. Clippers are 3-4. Those are all playoff teams batting .500 or below.
