NBA Regular Season thread: Tank for Cooper Flagg Initiated

Mavs fans rn

They were traumatized over the trade. They must be suicidal by this point

Plenty of room for mavs fans to become lakers fans.
I imagine now that the season is pretty much over for them, they will at least be rooting for Luka to win. IF the Lakers win a championship with Luka, look how much more pressure put on them to get rid of nico.

I’m 100% rooting for Luka to do well. My hate for Nico even outweighs my hate for the Lakers so I wouldn’t even care if they won titles… just to make that terrorist Nico look bad.

Gee I wonder why Kyrie was forced to play so many damn minutes with no other elite ball handler to run the offense. The same day they announce they raise ticket prices this shit happens to Kyrie. Can’t make this up

Yeah he's looking worse and worse for him by the day now. With Lakers moving up and them being 10th or so. Now their best players out. Also heard they are raising ticket prices. The new ownership is just straight trash and clueless.

Thing is, is it Nico? This shit didn't happen in a bubble, not a chance. The owner Miriam Adelson had to approve such a monumnetal move or it was even her idea. Same thing for Patrick Dumont. AD says no way Luka and his agents didn't know about it. So I don't see how firing Nico is in the cards, everyone involved agreed to it and even Jason Kidd said he was on board, whatever that means. Even if Nico is "fired" what difference does it make? The franchise is wrecked, its smoldering embers. The fans are dejected, ticket sales are down and will drop further, the main faces of Kyrie, Klay, AD, etc. are old and will be phasing out.

There is nothing left. Nico in one storke of a pen dropped nuclear ordinance on the franchise.

He certainly has the backing of the ownership but it was said that they took a hands off approach opposite of Cuban and let Nico basically make all the decisions. All to blame but Nico is the real villain. Fucking up the Curry Nike deal should have been the main red flag. Then he proceeded to fuck up letting Brunson, KP and Luka go.

You’re right tho, firing him now does nothing. The damage is done but I don’t see how he survives this unless the owners don’t give a shit, which could also be true.
