NBA Regular Season thread: Tank for Cooper Flagg Initiated

I agree. There was no basis for firing him. Firing coaches to hold them accountable without an available upgrade is stupid.

Holiday is the "kingmaker" of this era.

Immigrants are much less likely to leave their new city. They tend to be done with the whole "trying something new" thing. Hence Ohtani staying in LA even if he changed teams. This will be part of the small market team trying to get foreign stars. Americans want to go to the big city. If you just learned a new langugage and got settled into a new place you don't give a shit.
lol. Goatani stayed in LA because he always wanted to be a dodger even when he signed with the angels. Probably regrets he even went to that pathetic organization in the first place. Glad he was able to do a do over.

I'll admit, I don't watch a ton of college basketball but after the draft I was led to believe Edey was a risky pick. Why? He's early in the season, but he been pretty f'n nice... especially these last couple games.

What was the knock? Didn't he win like their conference player of the year a few times? People think he was too big? Like slow or something?

Very limited experience, huge size advantage for college, and he's older. The NBA everyone is bigger, has more experience and development, and are younger.

I think Naji Marshall might need to be a permanent starter for the Mavs. He's making an impact all over the floor even if the stat line doesn't show it.

Warriors beat the Celtics in Boston.

Complete turnaround from last year. Dumping Klay and getting Buddy was a blessing.

Chef cooking up greatness as usual.

Nice the Nuggies ended OKC's unbeaten streak and did it without Jamal and Gordon, but my gawd what a horribly officiated game. The chatbox was littered with comments about horrible calls and non-calls virtually all going one way. League is on alert to give SGA the all-star / MVP whistle - they must be thinking OKC is going very far this year..
