They knew ... they just don't care.

However, they are making things worse with their crackdowns on dissent in the stands. The Streisand Effect is a mother-fucker. The more you try to crush fans expressing their displeasure, the more determined they become to do it anyway in bigger and more creative ways. They should have just let it rip and let people get it out of their system. Trying to shut it down only drags things out.

The media is really pushing the narrative that this was nothing more than an odd trade. So there’s 100% more to the story.

someone started a gofundme and raised a bunch of money to put anti-ownership billboards up all over Dallas. There is also a truck driving around with a big sign in the back of it that says Fire Nico and Sell the Team. I really think they underestimated how much Dallasites value loyalty because of Dirk and how much they would be hated for this. This is not something that will pass man. Dallas fans are going to be pissed about this for a lifetime. Check this out at SMU.

My God, Luka has been the WCF 2 of the last 3 years and to the Finals last year and you just throw him to L.A.?! He's 25 years old. It is the most inexplicable shit of all time. People are saying a trade this bad hasn't happened since Babe Ruth 100 years ago. This is All Time bad.

They stopped people at the door with signs that were negative and kicked out anyone who dared protest in any way at the Mavs game. Censorship, all forms of censorship, always arises from fear. It doesn't matter if its historic book burnings of the past, censorship of political opponents by social media platofrms, it doesn't matter because its always the same. Its done out of fear. So this really tells you that ownership is fearful. Fear of whatever it is, money lost, violence, etc. Miriam, Nico, Dumont, and now I'm thinking J Kidd as well, they F'ed up bad.

Also too dumb enough to realize by doing this, it will only make it worse. Basically silencing your own fans and not allowing them a voice will backfire horribly.
 
Like an old man yelling at a cloud, people are fucking soft these days. We'd harass the shit out of opposing players heckling them and calling them names. Now people get kicked out of the arena for that, and now security taking signs away from fans after their ownership completely fucks over their fan base because the owners want to make money off a casino.

And yeah, the fact that mainstream media seems to want to play dumb on this whole thing just goes that they are most interested in corporate money; mind you, they've been trying to ram the fucking WNBA down our throats with the mean girls vs. Caitlyn Clark nonsense too so we should know this already.

Certainly possible. Kyrie can opt out after this season. If they suck to finish the season I am certainly see him rejoining Luka and Lebron
