Just saw this today, could this be the first year we see of Lean Luka? I think his trip to the WCF may have given him some hope and motivation.

That's been popping up a lot. People are saying he looks in better shape than he's ever been.

And of course Mavs fans are rabid about it. Getting the shoop machine going.

 
If Kyrie somehow ends up on the Lakers, Durant would be the dumbest player in the history of professional basketball.

He would have left Steph Curry and one of the most unselfish teams ever. The team ownership sold part of their team to be able to pay Steph, Klay, and Draymond. No other team did this. The Bulls didn't do that for Jordan. The Patriots wouldn't do it for Brady.

And Durant would have left that team to play with Kyrie who won't even get a shot, Harden who left the first chance he got, and Simmons who hasn't played one second of practice.

 
Hard to imagine what the Lakers could offer since they have no assets. Still hopeful this is just for bargaining power and that ownership will try and run it back a few more seasons since they're all in.

I love watching KD but he has only himself to blame. The people he recruited are drama queen quitters. Him being friends with them doesn't change the fact they completely lack in character.
 
Kyrie and Durant deserve each other. That phony franchise can go down with them.

They can offer their fans giant sized cajones.

Watching the avengers Nets fall apart and the Lakers coming back from the dead would be incredibly frustrating. They just keep respawning no matter what corner they put themselves in. The Lakers and Celtics being relevant sucks the fun out of the NBA because the media spends all their time fellating them because the media class predominatly grew up in the 1980s. Heck this year the Lakers were trash and they got many times the media coverage of the Warriors(who get more media coverage than most).

While Kyrie made a fool of himself there was no way for KD to predict Covid or what was going to happen when he left Golden State(Harden left because he didn't want to deal with it). It's not fair to blame him for what was essentially an act of god. It's the same with a lot of people who were friends with otherwise reasonable anti vaxxer types it was easy to shove that shit under the rug and pretend it didn't exist before Covid.

Everybody on earth knew Kyrie wasn’t getting the jab.

We didn’t know COVID was coming, but once it hit Kyrie and Rodgers were the 2 high profile athletes you could bank on not getting it.

Its pretty wild whats happening. Is this correct? KD literally could be sent to any shit team in the league? And no I'm not talking about my shit-tier Mavs, I'm talking about KD getting exiled somewhere actually shit-tier, like the Kings or something. Man I'm gonna feel bad if that happens. You're right that we couldn't have predicted covid. But we could have predicted the implosion of the Nets.

We saw Kyrie blow up two teams previously. Durant sacrificed everything to play with his bestie who wouldn't sacrifice his mid-morning smoothie for Durant.

We saw Harden blow up the Rockets even though it was the team that he wanted. They gave him everything. We saw Simmons act like a big baby.

When someone tells you who they are, believe them.
