Below is the Top 100 greatest nba/aba players of all time broken down into a 6-tier pyramid. A player's tier ranking is based on a comprehensive value of their overall legacies. Lebron could end up being number 2 behind jordan if he wins this title. His team really sucks right now and GSW have been running people over without KD recently

Many people will certainly make that argument.

Consider what it would do for Kawhi Leonard if the Spurs won it all this year. That would make him a 2x NBA Champion, 2x Finals MVP(most likely), and a 2x DPOY at just 25yrs old.

Tier Five(Top 70)

Kawhi s legacy is in the early stages, he can be an absolute all timer, but so much of his career is ahead of him.
Btw you must be a laker fan cause espn, realgm, and several other top lists don't have Kobe in the top 10.

Inb4 kobetards infect this thread with either assine logic or made up bullshit

Who would you have if his place?

I like big O and Hakeem and prolly west.

Hakeem i think is the only player to get, dpoy, mvp and finals mvp in same year
west started in 10 finals

Hakeem is Tier 1

Where would Mitch Richmond go? Jordan said he was one of the toughest competitors of his career.

Karl malone shouldnt be tier 2 he is the only one on there without a ring.

Add West, Baylor, Mikan to tier 1 and kick out Duncan, Jordan, Lebron.

Pretty much this. Hakeem is greater than Kobe on the all-time list. And a case could certainly be made for Big O(and a few others).

Karl malone shouldnt be tier 2 he is the only one on there without a ring.

He was consistently great for well over a decade, twice led a team out of a WC that full of killers, only to lose to Jordan's Bulls. Rings don't tell the whole story.

Peja Stojakovic brutal omission for tier 1

In their primes both Hakeem and Oscar(as well as others)were as good as anyone in Tier 1 but their resumes aren't quite as good. The guys in Tier 1 have elite skills, stats, AND resumes.

Yoy could make a case for either Hakeem or Oscar, I'll give you that.

What is Hakeem missing? He played in the greatest era of Big Men in NBA history and he was the best of that era.

He's got 2 Chips, 2x DPOY, 2x Finals MVP, MVP and bucket load of ALL- NBA 1s and 2nd team along with All Defense
