Anyone who says LeBron is better than MJ must be a teenager.

LeBron: 3 titles (2 were bought when he decided to join two other HOFers)

MJ: 6 titles (0 were bought).

Luckily his front office was able to draft Pippen instead of Booby Gibson lol

Curry was lights out tonight, but tbh, that was the first time out of these last 4 finals where I thought he was playing like the best guy on the floor.

He's a great player, surrounded by great talent, in a great system.

Wouldn't mind seeing him win FMVP tbh, but I'm kind of rooting for Klay to get it, really the only guy on the Warriros besides Livingston that I don't despise.

I’m not going to pick on you here... but Curry was the 2015 Finals MVP, the fact that Iggy got it had EVERYTHING to do with the Lebron centric narrative of the series... Bron put up some historic finals numbers, something people hadn’t really seen before that.

Still Curry went for fucking 37 in a pivotal game 5 to seize a 3-2 lead. Then he has 25/8/6 to close it out. He averaged 26/6/5 for the series... but because Iggy exceeded his expectations drilling wide open corner 3s (thanks Curry) and holding Bron to a 30 pt triple double average. Well... they fucked up and gave it to Igoudala.

The people who vote for awards are idiots.

2-10 in the first half. Didn't choke when it mattered most. Hill had five fouls killing his second half impact. Both guys played well .
Love was 1-4 with 0 rebounds in a 4th quarter that got down to a 7 point game before GSW went off. Not exactly showing up either.

Hill picked up his 4th foul well into the 3rd quarter and still played 34 minutes. Foul trouble is why he only took 1 shot in 16 second half minutes?

They played well in short spurts and were their usual can selves otherwise. Hell, you posted this mid-game:
Man, the Cavs are shit. Love is horrible

Dirk won a title with Jason Terry as his second best player with 40 year old Jason Kidd as his third beating Lebron, Wade, Bosh/ Kobe, Bynum, Gasol, Phil/ Durant, Westbrook, Harden.

Lebron has never and will never do anything as remotely impressive.

In 2006 Dirk went to the finals being the only team that beat the 2005-2007 Spurs and would have swept the Heat without the all time worst referring. His best sidekick? Once again Jason fucking Terry.

Give prime Dirk, prime Wade, Bosh and Ray Allen or prime Kyrie, Love and Tristan, instead of Devin Harris, Jerry Stackhouse, Erick Dampier, Josh Howard or Caron Butler and he'll have more rings than Lebron.

But yes, Lebron never had help. Except anyone with a minute understanding of basketball can see that his ball Dominant style can only work when he has a prime Wade+another 20/10 all star+all time great shooters or 30 ppg Kyrie+another 20/10 all star, great defense and a ton of shooters+Draymond suspension to win it all.

The most pampered, excused sportsman in history. From his undeserved rookie of the year award, to his ridiculously overblown comeback to Cleveland as if he came back because he loves the city rather than being demolished by the Spurs and jumping ship again, he has been glorified, pitied and excused like no one ever.

The same thing is going to happen this summer when he joins 2 All stars for the third time because the false GOAT can't win with anything less.

Lol yeah Dirk and the Macs had the crazy outlier of a postseason so that invalidates the history of the NBA where you need a 2nd difference maker.

We had the 2011 Mavs and arguably the 2004 Pistons.

So let's ignore Magic needing Kareem, Dr J needing Moses, Jordan needing Pippen, Kobe and Shaq needing each other followed by Wade and Gasol, Wilt needing Green, Russel needing 5 HOFers, Duncan needing Robinson and Kawahi etc....

Let's also ignore Malone and Stockton never winning...

I missed the game today... whew lawd did CANada get besmirched these last few pages though. Glad I popped in.

Lol at comparing 27 year old Klay to 37 year old Korver.

What was the most PPG Korver even averaged when he was on a shit 76ers team?

Your should probably leave this thread
Steph- top ten player all time

KD- top ten scorer all time

Klay- Great shooter, ok defender, borderline all star.

Draymond- Cant shoot, cant score off the bounce, amazing defender.

Mcgee- No team even offered him the vet minimum this off season

West- over the hill

Zaza- same as west

McCaw- Played like 5 mins in the playoffs

Bell- Rookie

Cook- Undrafted d leaguer

Looney- So trash the warriors didnt even pick up his rookie scale option.

Young- Huge black hole on defense and barely serviceable on offense

This "73" win team won 58 games this season. 6 more than the cavs.

it was blatant he wasn't the same player. he was being guarded beyond the 3 point line by Love and Tristan and he couldn't get by them. he had no quickness that series. Which is why the next year, he took it personally and roasted Love, Tristian and even Lebron one on one.
Exactly and he has been torching Love and TT in the finals.

there are some points in there that i dont agree with but the general message is definitely on point. if bosh didnt have his career cut short due to injury, its not outlandish to think lebron has played with 4 hall of fame level talents throughout his career

Do you think Steph is a better player than KD?

Sounds like bron going 0-4 in OT the other night but getting all the credit.

Tbf that Dallas team had the most impressive finals run in nba history. Probably the hungriest team ever.

They also dealt with a ton more injuries this year than the past 3, but there is no question that their depth, which was one of their greatest strengths has been severely watered down to being about average at best this year. They were also clearly less hungry this year having destroyed everyone last year. Doesn't matter when you have a top 4 like this though. Once they lock in, it's a wrap.

Josh Howard was clearly the 2nd best player on that 06 team, he led the NBA in first qtr scoring that season

Getting him in early foul trouble by Wade attacking was lowkey one of the smartest coaching decisions i've ever seen
edit: IMO at least, b/c i factor in defense more than most.

Bosh was a 14 point and 7 board guy in the Yoffs in Miami

LMAO. Seriously, why do Bern haters say stupid shit like this? The standard they hold him to, that he must dominate every moment of every game, gives away the fact they know he's the best in the world. Anyone else has a 1 blow up quarter, they played really well. Lol.
KD is obviously more talented but Steph makes everyone better. Something KD cant do.
I think that's overstated, but mostly fair. Steph demands so much attention on the perimeter it's hard to rotate. Teams don't even bother trying to do that KD because he can just shoot over anyone who can stay in front of him. But the effect is certainly that Staph disrupts the defense more.

So you think Steph is a top 10 player all time and he's playing with a better player....

Can anybody else actually make the same claim?

Maybe Kobe and Shaq in the 3rd title? Magic and Kareem?
