You guys want to talk about rigged--look at Toronto Raptors for the last 20 years. Only team that never got the respect of not just the refs but the NBA as a whole. Its bad reffing, lost 1st picks (see Allen Iverson), etc.

I'm not worried about the Wiz. In all honesty, I hate when MY teams are on national television (though after we win the title this season, I guess I'll have to get used to it). But marketing nostalgia is short sighted. Time to give recognition to teams on the way up. Toronto, Washington, Phoenix are all exciting teams to watch (tons of ball movement and crazy rotations on defense) with burgeoning stars. League could be doing better making them marketable. Celtics were on national TV more than those teams. I know it's the 'great Boston Celtics' and all, but they were awful this year and no one wanted to see them.

Toronto & Vancouver couldn't get the first pick in the draft for the first three seasons in the league. It was part of the NBA expansion agreement. I do agree the Raptors got hosed in the fourth quarter I've never seen a game where a team does not get called for one foul, especially in a playoff game. Reffing had nothing to do with the loss though DeRozan and Ross didn't show up.
