With the rumor of Diaz/Conor 2, they're really making it seem as if Diaz' win was a fluke. They're taking away from his easy win. Diaz should retire to one up their asses.

He's going to make a shitload of money if this fight happens at 200. He'd be a fool to consider turning that down.

If he retired it would make it seem like they were right.

What he should do is what he will do, get that money and embarrass Conor even worse

Hopefully he puts an even bigger beatdown on McG the second time around.

With an ACTUAL training camp, the odds of that happening are quite good.

why would Nate be mad about this rematch? he just got put on the biggest UFC PPV event of the year and will make an enormous amount of money.

They're about respect as much as they are about money

Easy win for the guy with the stitches lol

Nate should go for the sub that won't give Conor time to tap...

Nate makes another couple million

and conor gets another loss

win/win

Who's "they". How about an example so we know what you're talking about?

You know Dana HATES the fact that Diaz spanked his little boy.

It's not that they think the win was a fluke. It is more like, they want McGregor to win and Conor himself has to keep saying he can beat anyone otherwise his weak self confidence goes down the drain.

why do you care about how much money hes gonna make?

I couldn't care less what anyone makes or doesn't make. He is a prize fighter who's said repeatedly that he wants the biggest fights possible this is in fact the biggest fight he could possibly get right now. Why would he consider turning it down against an opponent he just beat for the largest purse he's ever made

I can't believe its so hard for so many to realize this.

By these standards, they should be doing a rematch of Anderson Silva vs Stephan Bonnar. About as arbitrary as this

The only reason why this fight could potentially make sense is that if Conor wins, he regains his swagger and he can move on with his trashtalk etc. Beating somebody else won't quite do it.
BUT if he loses, it will look so bad. DUde would be rolling the dice on this one.
Ah, and he should vacate his belt if so. Unless he wants to defend it 1 month after that fight.

Why are people given rematches when they lost so convincingly? Do they expect this to go different when Diaz has a proper camp to get in better shape and train?

The level of idiocy in this thread already is remarkable
