I think this fight shows GSP’s true colors once again. GSP is outclassed at MW and WW and he knows it. If there is another “Michael Bisping” out there, it is Nate Diaz.

It’s pretty much official. GSP will never take that leap into goatness by doing something daring or bold or awe inspiring.

His legacy is laying on guys for 5 years at 170. UFC isn’t stupid enough to let this guy contract himself to defend a belt again.

Beating matt hughes or BJ or Condit or Shields or going up to fight Bisping isn't daring at all?

I can’t even believe this fight is happening. WME era.

Love GSP, but I agree. Michael Bisping was never gonna beat him and neither is Nate. It's kind of making me less a fan and he was always a favorite of mine. Not to say Bisping/GSP wasn't at least intriguing. This is as relevant as Mir/Fedor.

If only he could fight unskilled fighters that are bigger than him to impress you TS

Agreed.

What's next after Nate Diaz?

Dennis Siver?

Bisping was never going to beat him? Hindsight is always 20/20. Sherdog's poll was 440-370 favouring GSP.

Dude dominated WW forever, let him do whatever he wants to make some dough, he didn't come back to add to his legacy

or dana just making shit up.

he said is hoping to sign that.

doesn't mean it can really be signed./

Calm down. The report is that the UFC wants to make that fight. I doubt GSP has any interest. It does nothing for his legacy.

Guys sitting on a computer chair gonna hate on pro fighters

Let gsp get his cash

Then he loses a fight and you claim he’s:
Past his prime
Never was that good
Been exposed

He’s fighting Nate freakin Diaz, not holding up a belt or division...after his career, let the dude get some cash!! He was dominating opponents and PPV numbers long before this “money fight” era...he deserves a piece

Yeah, because Shields, Condit, Alves, Diaz, Koscheck, Hughes are all shit.

GSP is doing because he can. He has put himself in that position and I think most in the same position would go the path of the least risk. I will not knock him for that. That stuff about doing something daring or bold or awe inspiring is fine if you succeed but if you fail you're remembered as a fool for doing something like that.

As of right now it isn't
That it was even being considered is disheartening to be honest. Unless it’s just some ploy from Dana to manipulate Nate, I really can’t understand it.

Dana has to offer both of them fights or he has to pay them for not providing them fight options

He's trying to kill two bird with one stone by offering both of them a fight to fulfill both contracts, while also having the remote possibility they accept and he gets a money making fight

Both guys have said they aren't interested

Don't let the false narrative of the GSP haters take you in
