What about this fight. Its a big money fight. It makes more sense than a title shot for Nate (unless he wants to fight lawler or rda) and it's a winnable fight that keeps the hype/momentum going for Diaz.
It would suck to beat Conor and lose straight away.

Yes its good for Nate. Im sure BJ would take the fight too. BJ is not coming back to fight nobodies and build himself up again. Its BJ fucking Penn.

Thoughts? Ufc 200

BJ Penn is not a big money fight anymore. He has 3 straight losses and has not won a fight since 2010.

He is 1-5-1 in his last 7.

I'd definitely tune in.

Not only are those two fighters been around for a long time, their styles makes for a very interesting fight. Count me in.

Sure but alot of people would watch.
BJ is more popular than RDA.

Repeat of BJ vs Nick.

Nate would smash him on the feet.

Given the way BJ has regressed in the past couple of years, it would look at least as bad as Nick vs BJ, and probably worse. I don't think BJ's team would want this.

BJ would lose to every top 15 LW easily

BJ's situation is now ridiculous, I think the only reason the UFC is letting him fight is fear of him going to Bellator.

BJ my favorite fighter of all time...It would be like the Nick fight.....But ill tell you what, he wont tap!

I been calling for that fight for a long time. But I don't want to see B.J. in with Nate until he gets a win over non ranked opponent.

BJ has been done for a very long time. He isn't top 20 anymore. I think he is too old and lazy to make a run but he needs at least two wins to even fight a top flight guy at this point.

Motivated Prime Marinovich Penn is gone forever.

Heck, even Penn subtly admits how much he hates to train away from Hawaii in his book and that he's surrounded by yes men.

At this point Nate would just slap him til he quits next round.

Worst. As BJ probably is more shot now than then. If we are to go by BJ's form from his last fight with Frankie, BJ shouldn't even step in the cage with Nate. Nate's no overall elite striker, but he's good with his hands, and that's the only thing BJ can do as well, since they both are awful at kicking or understanding the kicking game.

BJ via TKO because that would be cool
