That's the fight to make right now. I get people are saying Nate v. RDA but that's not the style fight to make. Nick's already beat Lawler and Nate just won a fight at 170. Nate's equally as good as Nick. This is the only fight that makes since for UFC 200 now that Stephen Thompson already has a fight. I think it's a great style match up and I think Nate most likely wins but Nate and Lawler have both been two of my favorite fighters for a longgggg time. Who you got or who do you want for both fighters if you don't think they should fight each other?

Conor vs Frankie
Max vs Aldo
Nate vs RDA
Lawler vs Woodley/Condit or long shot GSP

No way, just because Diaz won at 170 doesn't mean he should stay at that weight. He should stay at 155 lbs. Robbie has the power to put his lights out.

Just cause your dream boy Nick won on a lucky punch ten years ago.... This doesn't mean Nate has a good chance.

Nate and Nick are probably going to come back just for the money fights, they don't give a shit about the titles

Lawler vs Wonderboy,please.

I'm certainly not saying he's the best 170 pound fighter, I'm basically only saying this because of the match up. Hell I don't think Lawler is the best 170 pound guy. That's the cool thing about the division, there's not clear cut guy. Honestly, I think Rory has the most talent but Robbie's out-toughed him twice now. Hendricks, Condit, Woodley, Thompson, etc all are in the mix as well. That said you can't tell me Nate can't beat Lawler. People told me Nate can't beat Conor and I thought it was retarded. Nate mainly losses to guys who suffocate him and can keep the pressure up. Sure Thomson landed the head kick on him but that's not the norm. Also, the Nate I saw fight Michael Johnson is the best Nate I've ever seen. I think this fight is a 50/50 fight tbh.

I think he would get lit up pretty easy. As Nick once said, " You don't want to take Robbie Lawler punches win or lose.".

I think Nick would have a better chance.

Nah. Nate vs RDA II is the best choice. Nate already tried 170 and it didn't really work. This fight was more of a battle between 2 lightweights that didn't have to cut weight.
You know, something's telling me GSP's coming back... so...
Lawler-GSP @ 200?

Honestly I don't think he does. Nate is more durable than Rory, and has better options to finish Lawler.
I'd imagine the fight would be similar but with considerable more aggression from Nate and eventually an RNC when Lawler inevitably gasses.
The real question is if the UFC management wants to see Nate as the 170 champ or not.

If they're willing to give him that fight I think he should take it.

Excuses for the RDA loss aside, Dos Anjos proved he will not fall into the patterns Diaz brothers capitalize on.

Sure he'll be the underdog vs Robbie, but I think he should take a crack.

I don't know man. Nate's always seemed like he could hang to me at 170. Yeah Rory tossed his salad but I always thought Rory was the next GSP. Who knows maybe he still is, he's still like 25 lol. But I mean losing to DHK and Rory at 170 doesn't mean he can't compete. Those are literally the worst match ups for him besides GSP who's retired. Nate's a dangerous man and I think he can easily beat Lawler and vice versa. Nate sells fights and I don't know why they wouldn't chose this over Lawler v. Woodley. If they have Lawler v. GSP lined up, sure that's the better fight but I fucking doubt it.

diaz vs alvarez imo for the next lightweight shot, i beleive he wins that fight anyway

Can idiot Diaz fans stop pretending that 20 year old Robbie is the same fighter as current champ Robbie.

Nate is better then Nick, but he is smaller and needs to stay at 155LB were he fights his best

Maybe he can beat him, who really knows? :p

I also believe Rory is an awesome outside striker. His biggest problem in my mind is his inability to cope with inside striking pressure, the bread and butter of Lawler.

I don't doubt Nate has the tools, it's just that he has shown great frustration when things aren't going his way a lot of the times. He also refuses (Just like his brother) to mix up his game more. He would be a beast if he went for takedowns more often.
