Brown is on the short list of Diaz's next opponent for sure. I think Diaz would whether Brown's early storm and then beat him up on the feet before subbing him after a knockdown due to a body shot (Brown is notorious for his susceptibility to body shots). Others on that list include Maia, Condit or the loser of Wonderboy v Rory.

I like Nate but Brown is just too big and rough for him. He'd get brutalised in the clinch and on the feet.

People seem to forget what happens when Nate fights natural welterweights. He loses.

Dude is a beast, but he belongs at 155 and he's said as much himself a bunch of times. Whether he wins or loses the rematch, let him put this Conor business behind him and go back to the weight class he feels best at. Then Nick fight (and beat) Brown.

At this point I want Nate fights way more than Nick. Nick last 3 fights wasn't even exciting. And Nate is just as big as Nick, but like he says, WW is Nick division. But still, Nate vs Lawler would be a better fight.

Nate has said many times, he's a LW, that's his division. and he feels like lawler and the like are his brothers fights. Plus he wants big fights, i don't think matt brown qualifies, especially after losing 3 of his last 4 fights. Nate is not a welterweight, he's a LW. The amount of money he's gonna have for the 2 conor fights ... he'll have zero motivation to fight a guy like brown. just my opinion tho.
