he's too afraid to risk losing the hype he feels he still has from that first fight

If nate has burned trough his conor purse already. If not expect him to stick with triathlon

I disagree I think Lee would just hold him down and Alvarez would scrap.
 
Kevin Lee would be the worst match up for Diaz - at 155. Lee would overpower Diaz and grind his way to an easy decision. It would look similar to Lee vs. Barbosa.

Almost anyone in the top 10 at 155 would be a better match up for Diaz. But, I doubt he comes back at 155, he is older and heavier and will most likely come back at 170.

I see a one sided beat down when lee repeatedly takes hims down.
 
Why would you put him against someone thats guaranteed to take him down and hump him? This is probably the LEAST interesting matchup IMO. Ghatje, Porier or alverez are much better stylistic choices. Dont bother telling me he doesnt deserve it, this isnt ufc circa 2012.

He is the only person to beat conor in the UFC, that alone is a huge accomplishment and the reason diaz chooses his matchups these days.

nate fight rumors are even less worthless than conor fight rumors.
