Not only a more legit fight but it will sell more than Conor vs Floyd.

First of all Nate Diaz actually trains with Andre Ward and legit boxers, so that alone makes him more legit.

Nate Diaz has already proven to be a better fighter/boxer than Conor...Casuals want to see Floyd get somewhat of a challenge.

Nate Diaz is coming off from beating the poormans mayweather from MMA...The Casual fans know this, so Mayweather is logically the next fight that makes sense.


It will outsell Conor vs Mayweather. Again the Casuals know Conor is not that good but right now they think Nate Diaz is a completely different animal. They know that Nate is the real deal. This will lead to much more PPV sells. Since there is a minuscule chance that Nate wins and 100% chance that Nate is gonna come to fight.

Conor vs Mayweather on the other hand will be 100% chance that Mayweather destroys him in the first 5 rounds, hell Conor might tap again, he just doesn't have that IDGAF attitude that Nate Diaz has.


Also Nate Diaz out shit talked Conor McGregor. Nate actually has a chance in the shit talking department against Mayweather since he doesn't give a fuck.




Meanwhile Conor vs Mayweather shit talking will be so easy for Floyd, it will just be embarrassing for Conor.

Floyd is literally what Conor wishes he was..

Really Conor has nothing on floyd....He doesn't have the whole "Im saving your bum life" shtick, Conor recently got his ass kicked, floyd is still undefeated...He truly has nothing on floyd.



Lastly and the Main reason why Nate Diaz vs Floyd will make sense...Is because Dana is in love with his golden child Conor.

They can't throw away their investment like that. Just look at Dana White talking about Conor, he is being way too nice, the UFC obviously loves the guy. They are straight up butt buddies. Not to mention when Conor loses, it will make UFC look like a joke.


Nate Diaz on the other hand...He is a guy that the UFC can sacrifice. If the UFC gets the right cut for the fight, they will totally let Diaz fight. Nate isn't a Ronda/Conor, he isn't a butt buddy to the UFC like them so this is the reason they can let him fight.
