is this chael sonnen's show? I'm glad i've never listened to it, because i imagine he does his shitty laugh over people all the time

also, nate diaz remains one of the most self aware fighters in the sport and it's great

The Diaz bros are P4P the most paranoid people in MMA. I'm surprised they don't run their own conspiracy youtube channel at this point. The UFC has been taking chances like this for so long they know for a fact that there was a possibility Nate could win. They were hoping he wasn't and setup the GSP fight. Nate saying they're mad is stupid unless making millions of dollars from this fight and the next one really pisses the UFC off.

Nate's could be right. UFC wants to Market Conor @ 145, 155 & 170 and with that 1 loss, it screwed the plans of both 155 & 170. Full camp Nate was dominated by the 155 champ. And Nate ranks very low at 170. This rematch just might be a make or break for that plan. If he loses, they will stick Conor back to 145 and let him defend his belt.

I still cant understand how anyone can seriously think the UFC gives a shit.

They hold all the cards and make whatever fight they want. Everyone still buys it!!

So very cute how people think Nate winning is a victory on so many other levels.

Nate is still their bitch, and he'll dance to whatever tune they play.

He doesn't hold shit. He may think he's on top of the game, but he's nowhere STILL.
 
Remember when Dana approached Shogun after the latter's lackluster performance against Coleman and offered him the Chuck fight? Dana stays scheming and it's funny when it blows up for them.

I don't think he's right simply because the UFC has been doing this for so long they have to realize that even though that's the plan they want MMA is way to unpredictable for any plan to be guaranteed to work. I've heard DW say this himself when other similar situations have come up. The UFC has plans of course it's always nice to have a plan in place and hope for the outcome you want but they should know better then anyone just how unpredictable this sport is.
