He doesnt sound confident at all. This pretty much shattered any thoughts i had of him possibly winning.

Hope he at least fights safe and makes it last a couple of rounds.

Poor Nate. He knows no one stand a chance against Conor. I respect that, but, Nate should try to be the first one to ever give Conor a fight. Don't be like that, dude.

As much as I tried to close my eyes and ignores all the signs of this - it's definitely true.
Diaz just wants a paycheck.
 
By fight night, he won't care about winning or losing.

He will just want to scrap.
 
I said this after the presser. I know he's not very articulate, but something just seemed off in the confidence dept. I really got the feeling that he is happy to take his paycheck, and his new 4 fight deal and call it a day. Like he isn't concerned with winning at all.
 
Shit man he's making me worried that this is one is gonna end real quick. Hopefully it's all some Sun Tzu strategy shit and he's appearing weak when he's strong,
 
I think TS over exaggerated Diaz's lack of confidence. He seemed pretty understanding of the situation and the magnitude of the fight.
 
he's just being honest, he already said kill or be killed. He knows he might win and he might lose. Every fighter knows this going into a fight whether they admit it or not.

I told you guys this was a formality at this point.

McGregor is giving Diaz a $500k check for him to knock him out.

To whoever bet a real amount of money on Diaz I hope to Jesus Christ himself you can't help your mother with the rent this month.
 
He's just being realistic.

Almost ZERO time to prepare, against one of the most on-fire dudes in the UFC right now.

Hopefully he can at least make it past the first. Anything beyond that is a moral victory for him.
 
We and Conor know Diaz (Nick and Nate) only come to get some money, they rarely perform.

That's what it seems like. If he wins it's not like he'll go on a run to try and get the 155 belt or move up to 170.

He'll probably do the same as Diaz sr did when he fought GSP and sit out for a while. Could be trying to be crafty as well, though.
