I must admit that I was never a real Nate or Nick fan found them to be inarticulate, not very social to their fans, but always brought fight to the Octagon. When Nate Diaz called out Conor McGregor back in December nobody thought that callout would ever materialize. Conor secured the FW belt then immediately set sights on the LW belt, as we all know RDA got injured and that callout back in December became real for Nate.

Chosen as the next sacrificial lamb on the alter of McGregor, Diaz quickly put a stop to the big push the UFC was giving Conor to secure two belts and become the Ultimate face of the UFC. Ever since Nate's massive dismantling of Conor the UFC brass as been twisting the whole organization with head scratching moves & rematches to twist fate to Conor's advantage. Nate's new found celebrity is a problem for the UFC brass Nate & his brother have the reputation of saying it like it is, not towing the company line, and not bending over for the boss. Ask them a question prepare to get the truth as they see it everything that Conor is Nate is not.

Since the win I've become more of a Nate Diaz fan not just for the win but his willingness to put his employers on the line and not just say the politically correct thing, even after the big win Nate is calling out the brass for the unnecessary rematch. I love the attention and accolades Nate is receiving even if he feels the attention is more about him beating Conor, than people backing him as a true fan.

Look for Nate and the Scrap Pack phat banked camp to push Conor back into his lane for good with a beating worthy of the fight Gods amusement @UFC 200

Call it what you want was never a die hard but a fan all the same but more of a fan now...

Not gonna lie I kinda disliked the Diaz bros but after the Nick/Silva and Nate/McGoatse fights I've gained a lot of hespect for them and became a fan

I was gonna troll you at first with the "bandwagon diaz fan" post but chose not to. As a lifelong Diaz fan Im actually happy he's managed to draw in more fans. Just dont hop off the wave next time he loses or else I will find you and smack you up Stockton style.

Always been a fan of their skills, hard not to be if you enjoy MMA.

Dude just because I wasn't swinging from their nutz as a fanatic always respected the brother for their fighting, talking not so much. But the way Nate took out Conor just opened up my eyez more to Nate as a fighter, I'm not hopping off anything...

Rewatched this fight the other night. Was a lot closer than I remembered, cowboy fought till the end

Rounds 1 was a beat down
2 Cowboy had some nice sweeps and that headkick
3 Diaz won the round but it was close than round 1.

But You're right Ceronne did stay there till the end

Some of you all act like you had to be at the station start to be a fan, some fighters you grow into being a fan some you click right away. No shame here...
