Apparently Conor wanted everything to be exactly the same to overcome the situation that he failed at. From a UFC standpoint I'm not sure what their plan is. Maybe it's to give Robbie a contender since the LW's have Khabib v Ferguson winner and the WW have no one that isn't booked or coming off one win or even a loss.

Edit: IMO. Maybe I just want to see Tyron get his title shot, it would be a big drain on his career to have sat out for nothing. I'm not a huge fan of his but it looks like he could have taken Hendricks as well, and would like to see the UFC keep their word.

Conor should be careful taking these fights at higher weights back to back...when he tries to cut down back to 145 his body might not react well to it. He's already emaciated at the weight cuts for 145 and going back down without cutting in a long time he should careful unless he just sheds a lot of muscle
