I watched a bunch of his old UFC fights a while ago, I can't remember if they used it officially but I remember Goldy called him Nick "Diablo" Diaz right before his fight with Gleison Tibau.

There's a replay of Nick submitting Cyborg on fightnetwork or something like that and they call him like that but not sure where it comes from
