Nate Diaz: No interest in fighting Conor and wants to fight in January

Ya but then he (or someone) said no to Poirier, in January.

How far can you throw Nate Diaz, guys?
 
Give him a fight so he can fulfill his contract and do whatever he wants.

He wants to fight boxing vs Jake Paul. He's already there at the events and Jake Paul already named him as one of the big name fights he wants besides Conor. He doesn't want to wait for Conor because he'll miss out on the opportunities for it if he's sitting out. He can get the next fight if Jake Paul beats Woodley again.
 
It sounds, to me, like someone has offered Nate a big money fight outside of the UFC, but it is time sensitive. Nate wants out of his UFC contract, badly, but not badly enough to fite Khamzat, of course.

Yes he has one fight left on his contract and wants to leave as soon as possible. People have been saying he should wait for Conor so hopefully this puts the trilogy to rest, at least in the UFC.

Yeah was going to say, since the Loss to Conor he has only beaten Pettis who was no where near the top anymore, he looked terrible vs both Jorge and Leon. He is just aiming for money fights and all the power to him for that.
 
Nate would love to negotiate the trilogy from a position of strength...i.e., when he is done his contract and has other options, and after Conor has another fight.

I doubt Conor beats a top contender upon his return to get a title shot...so whether Conor loses to a top contender or instead chooses to beat some shot vet (like Tony) would be irrelevant...either result could make the Diaz trilogy a lucrative and logical next step.

Then again, if Conor beats a guy like Tony, the fuckery of the UFC matchmaking machine could 'justify' a title shot for him afterwards lol
