Media Nate Diaz discredits Khabib & DC

DC would annihilate Nate and Nick at the same time.. then work on shields and Melendez.. and then walk into their gym and start tossing everyone around. 0 breaks, 0 water.. and the scariest part about all this is that that is all true.

Hah, I wouldn't bet against it. DC darn sure takes any one of them one on one.

Nate is insane, considers himself the best even though he's lost like 15 times. How the fuck is DC not a real fighter? He was a strong finisher, continually fought bigger guys and was in some absolutely legendary wars with Stipe, Jones and Gus.
Well to be fair, we have people in this thread who considers someone with 11 losses GOAT, so not shocking that Diaz thinks HIMSELF to be the best with 15, as fighters basically have to be delusionally confident. <45>

Although I don't understand his DC hate, probably because DC is a huge shill? Idk.<{hughesimpress}>

The thing that is annoying about Nate Diaz is he acts like that punk ass kid that we have all met who plays himself up but in reality he isn't shit. Nate actually can beat the shit out of all of us on here though. It's a shame he conducts himself as a filthy street urchin.

He’s right but we know he’s just salty because he could never hold a real belt. Nates the top bum.

Khabib retired on top, murdering contenders by wider margins with each passing fight. I would have loved to seen him fight 3-4 more times at least but whatever, it’s his career. He made the smart move and got out without taking any damage. He may not be the GOAT to a lot of people, but he was unquestionably the most dominant. No one came close to putting him in danger.

Nate is a character. Long story short. He’s had a great career in his own right but the two are not comparable at all, career wise. Great fighter but he lost a lot of fights.

Hm you don’t think so? Diaz destroyed MJ at 155 at a time when a lot of guys (Porier included) had trouble with his speed. People often forget that the only real guys to give Diaz trouble at 155 were point fighters and grapplers. Even Josh Thomson admits that he is lucky his kicking combo paid off in their fight. I think he keeps it competitive with all three guys if he’s in the right mindset. The guy was one finger point away from beating Leon a Edwards after getting beat from pillar to post for 20mins.
Yep, the one small chance he had of being anything but a gate keeper he decided to talk shit instead.

He’s one of the biggest names and probably the second richest MMA fighter of all time. I think he’s ok and has established himself as more than just a gate keeper…but ya know the sherdog bubble knows best.

Jon is such a narcissistic douchebag and it comes so naturally to him.

I really wish he could have let go of the good guy shtick and just embraced the dark side.
I love how there’s no critique of the logic he’s using here, only his character as if that somehow makes it untrue.

I have family from Stockton, and I was born in Lodi (right next to Stockton).

Still, I can't get with this pseudo-thug, pseudo-gang, "street guy" mentality, especially considering Nate is an older guy. He needs to drop the act. At some point we all need to grow up and stop making ourselves look ridiculous.

He is worse than Ronda Rousey with his bitchy mouth even though he doesn't get near the hate. He does all of the same things, even down to refusing to shake other fighter's hands.

I don't think Khabib is a GOAT candidate with his early retirement, but it was a super smart move. Take the money and get out with good health; he didn't need to keep fighting. DC is kind of shill, but he is miles beyond Nate as a fighter (they both are).

same man. Ran into Nick and Nate a few times in Lodi and Stockton. At in shape and the bar scene. They are cool, but the crowd they keep are… not the people I want my children to grow up to be. And I’d be fine with my child growing up to be a martial artist.

drugs drinking thug behavior street fights… just not what makes SJ county good, it actually is what has made it awful.

If we're being honest....Diaz could've beaten Gaethje and Porier, they fight the exact style Diaz is typically good at countering and they're both chinny af.

Could Diaz have beaten Khabib....probably not but if Porier and Gaethje got title shots I dont really see a universe in which Diaz wouldn't have gotten one had he not decided to give McGregor that rematch when he didn't have to. At the very least Diaz likely could've beaten Alverez then lost to Khabib.

At first I thought your post was ridiculous but I started thinking about it and i feel you're probably right.

The McGregor who Diaz beat, arguably/nearly twice, was probably better than Gaethje and Poirier were at the time.

I could see Gaethje destroying Diazs leg, and I could see Poirier finding a big punch in an exchange, but I can also see nate grinding both of them out, especially in a 5 rounder.

Imagine being so disrespectful towards Khabib's style of fighting when your teammate, the guy Nate constantly praised, is Nick Maximov, the epitome of a snooze grappler. Also, one of Nate's best wins is against a prime Michael Johnson, the guy Khabib was able to finish, unlike Nate.

But yeah, let's not compare their performances against RDA and just stick with the narrative that Khabib's only good wins are the last 2 guys he fought.
