I really don´t understand. What makes people believe that Jake Paul can box?
He defeated a youtuber and and basketball player. So, how is that all of a sudden he believes he can fight a pro?
I mean, come on, I saw the videos of Jake "boxing".
I'm no joking, but any - ANY- Lightweight from UFC would dismantle Jake in a boxing bout, not to mention a professional boxer. I don´t even want to imagine what a UFC fighter of Jake's weight (MW or LHW) would to to him in a fight under boxing rules.
The mere fact that some people talk about Jake in the fighting game is just insane.

Its not sad on Diaz's part, if i were him, I would totally roll off the couch and kick Pauls ass for 5mil on Floyd's undercard. Much better than doing a 3 month fight camp and get CTE from losing to actual contenders. Diaz's skills are far lower than his popularity.

Nate isn't a big enough name these days for a fight like that. Maybe a few years ago just after he (Nate) fought Conor, but not now. The promoters want a big name: Conor, a retired well-known boxer, someone from the NFL, even another celebrity.

For a more consistent and prolonged period, yes. The Diaz bros did that occasional training sesh with Andre Ward and a couple of others, but they never did proper boxing training for prolonged periods of time.
