With McGregor out at the moment and risking possible jail time due to flashing in public and other lewd behaviour. What fight makes sense for Diaz? Kevin Lee hasn't earned it in my opinion, he should have to get a few more wins in the top 20 before he is even considered. With the rumours surrounding Siver coming back, I think this makes the most sense because if Diaz can beat Siver then he is ready for a title shot. Also if Siver wins that will set up the rematch with McGregor at the end of 2018 at MSG. They could call the PPV "Unfinished Business".

If anything, it is Nate who wouldn't deserve to fight Kevin Lee and not the other way round.
 
If we lived in a fair world: Nate needs at least 3 fights before he is even close to a title shot.

But since we are not...

Probably a title shot.

Maybe they should make Diaz vs Poirier and Denis Siver gets a title shot vs Khabib?

Edit: Now that I think about it, they should just hand Siver the interim belt while Khabib is busy with ramadan.
 
Lawler or Cerrone rematch would be my choices, but not sure if Nate would take either of those. Also not sure he'd want to fight at WW.

Poirier would be my pick at LW, but not sure he'd fight Diaz.
 
An easy fight he could win against either Poirier or Alvarez sounds plausible.

I'd LOVE to see he and T-Ferg throw down when Tony gets healed up, though.
 
Also no one wants to see Lee try to wrestlefuck Diaz to a safe decision win.
 
I've said it before but I'll say it again: As someone who used to point to Nate as one of their absolute favorites, I have very little interest in seeing him fight again. He's forced my hand toward indifference about his career.
 
It is tiresome hearing all the Nate Diaz fight rumors ... which so far have lead to nothing concrete as far as a fight goes.

^^right .. plus I imagine Lee isn't high profile enough of a name that Nate would want to fight him.

Lawler - depends how long he's out

Cerrone - has an upcoming fight he's gotta get by

Ferguson - who knows how much longer he'll be out ... plus I read when Ferguson-Diaz was being talked about Nate wanted the fight @ 165lbs.

Lol how does beating Siver, who's 2-2-1 in his last 5 warrant a title shot in the most stacked division in MMA..
