Nate Diaz calling out the UFC on the claim he's a welterweight

Nate has such a great grasp of the english language

A modern day Shakespeare
I am but mad north-north-west. When the wind is southerly, I know a hawk from a handsaw, motherfucker. What?

Yep, its the same as Conor cutting to FW because he doesnt have the power to compete at LW.
This, look at Conor's LW record vs FW record and you will see that his size advantage plays a huge roll.

Its early damage control for when Nate slaps Conor and moves to LW so they have the excuse that he was a WW

He is a natural welterweight, but this is what happens when he fights men his own size so I can see why he wants to only fight midgets:

If Nate is a natural WW then Hory is a natural MW

You really believe that a 6 foot pro athlete with top of the line supplements and nutritionists couldn't put on 10lbs of muscle? Nate is lean as fuck and in great shape, he could do it easily (but he won't).

I'll just post this again because you guys are pretending like you didn't see the picture of 31 year old Nate next to his brother looking like his identical twin.

You're way off base. Nick Diaz is bone dry and shredded making 170lbs. Nate is soft and doughy making 169lbs.

They are not 'twins' and Nick absolutely cannot make 155lbs. I literally laughed out loud at you saying Rory Macdonald could make 155lbs if he dieted.

You have no context for size in combat sports.

Lol at Conor fanboys softening the nest already....

If you're a Conor fan he's a welterweight. It helps the narrative.

Yeah the real MMA fans are not buying this bs don't worry Nate we got your back.

How soon people forget. He moved up to WW cause the weight cut was too tough for him. he even had to cut to make 171. people forget all this. he weighed 171 against rory. He only moved back down to LW cause he was getting tooled. He fought numerous times at WW..
no one has forgotten his stint at WW, but the division he competes at is LW. This is clearly a move by the UFC to make it seem like Conor is fighting up again since they will need a legitimate claim for him to fight Alvarez for the LW title after the Diaz rematch.

So THIS will be his 6th fight at WW........ So, aside from fighting Conor, he's only fought at WW 4 times in his career? Out of 29 fights?

Sounds like a LW to me then
Okay...

So what part of my comment do you disagree with then?

What's the difference? Fights are signed one at a time. For now, yeah, him and McGregor are welterweights.

In the grand scheme of things, Diaz is still a lightweight contender, and McGregor, still featherweight champion (he'll at least look to defend his title once).

Nate and Conor have very different builds, not just in Height, this idea that Nate is some monster because he's tall is ridiculous, he's a tall, skinny Lightweight. Conor is a medium height, bulky Lightweight. Both should be fighting at LW.
