Nate is an OG and ultimate fighter winner. Holds victories over prime Cerrone, gomi, Prime Guillard, Jim Miller, gray Maynard x2, Michael Johnson and Conor McGregor. His UFC record is 14-9 but it’s not always about your losses, sometimes it’s about your asswhoopings and if they were handed out to the their maximum effect.

Example:He outstruck one of the best boxers in MMA history and had him out on his feet before the panic wrestle.

Outclassed prime Cerrone who still had a chin

I think Cabo 10 day notice, leave vacation early Nate Diaz would be a problem for any LW all time, definitely top 10 all time LW. What do you think?

Nate Diaz is underrated, especially on Sherdog.

10 days notice, Tequila sipping Nate made full camp Conor panic wrestle and quit.

Top 30 LW of all time. Does that even mean anything?

hes not ranked near them at all.

bendo whipped him like a child and hes still living off that cerrone win 6 or so years ago

not in the top ten. he's going to go down as more of a buster douglas case, one huge win in a mediocre career.

Not in the top 10 but the UFC might find some BS reason to make him top 10 just to make it seem like Conor eeking out a majority decision win a big deal.

Nate is a gatekeeper. One of the most overrated fighters in the sport

He's not. Definitely not top ten. There's lots of guys who won major titles and were much more consistent.

Why would he be?

He beat Conor, who at that point was a featherweight. Other than that he lost most of his big fights. Bendo, RDA and Thomson demolished Nate.

Nate has major holes in his game. He is extremely fun to watch because he stands toe to toe but smart technical fighters pick him apart.

He's a good fighter to watch but he isn't ranked anywhere near the top. Between maybe 20-30 all time.

I agree...

The Diaz brothers have a lot of natural talent, however, full camp Nate lost the rematch because he got too cocky and didn't commit 100% to training.

Meanwhile, Conor trained his ass off for the rematch and barely won. Nate should have won that rematch too!

The Diaz brothers are the type of fighters who had unlimited potential if they dedicated 100% to the fight game and didn't carry all that extra mental baggage with them.

Nate is pretty much a classic gatekeeper (to the elites) level fighter.

Which is still pretty damn good at 155...the guy has a handful of quality wins. Unfortunately, he could never really break through the elite fighter at 155, and had some problems with consistency.

You're higher than Nate and Nick combined if you think that resume gets him close to ATG status.

Diaz bros are ATG characters. No more no less.

Thank you for the insight guys. Are you saying prime McGregor got outstruck and finished by a LW gatekeeper basically?

@SKITZADACTYL @Mixedfights @Son Peyote where do you guys rank Nate all-time?
