fuck it, it's the fight to make. For #1 contender.

Flame away.

Love it, be great if Nate could do something Nick couldn't.

Condit kicks return 2.0

Every fighter has a formula to beat them, the hardest to figure out is Jon Jones. But Anderson Silva and Condit showed the formula for the Diaz

And Lawler Thompson in the mean time? Don't have a problem with it at all. I don't have a problem with any combo between those four. Even Diaz going straight to Lawler. Why not? So long as Woodley keeps treading water doing boring things against boring people and stays out of the way.

I'd love to see this but don't forget Nate fights at 155, he just didn't want to do the cut on short notice, it is already hard for him to cut to 155.

Nick Diaz v Lawler 2 please.....

Fuck no. Condit all day. Nate just beat the champion of midgets right?

It's definitely my favourite potential match-up for Lawler, but I haven't heard anything about Nick fighting again since his suspension was reduced. He's eligible to fight again at the end of July this year, I think.

this was not a ww fight, it was a LW fight without the weight cut. i dont see nate fighting at WW, those guys too big for him. he got ragdolled around by rory. maybe he gets pettis or alvarez? a top LW guy, and if he wins he gets a title shot. i imagine he's gonna ride this victory for a bit, then see what they offer him. i'm guessing he made a few million from this fight. as dana said, "he just made so much money, we may never see him again." maybe he opens up the "conor mcgregor BJJ academy for children".

always with nick. he's not getting a title shot unless its last minute replacement. he hasnt won a fight in like 4 years. there's real active contenders at WW. nick wants a shot, let him get in there and earn it.

I think both the Diaz boys won't let the money change them. They seem to love the fight game.....

why does everyone all the sudden want nate to fight at 170??????

Who is this Nate Dia fella?

true, but they also hate being played around and bowing to dana. he has some power now in negotiating his next fight. so it'll have to be a big one.

I agree Mr Dalton, would love to be a fly on the wall when Nate calls DW a 'mutherf****r ....!

heh, in his post backstage interview he said, "i'm the featherweight champion now". too fucking funny.

Condit would take him apart but there's no way Carlos can make 155.

I get your point of view, but I was thinking of it from Lawler's POV. That's the worst loss on his record. Not because Nick isn't great, but because of the aberrant way it happened. I think Lawler's earned the right to go after a loss or two. Besides, it's an easy match-up to sell as well. Would you prefer to see Woodley in there? He's earned it more than Nick.

I dont think lawler cares who he fights. Nor do i think he's bothered by loss that was 12 years ago.
It's so old, he had a think full head of brown hair in that fight.
On the other hand, they could sell that fight, and it would be a big payday. but i think lawlers made his money at this point. he gets approx 1/2 Million in disclosed pay per fight, ppv points, and undisclosed bonus money. He's making a few million per fight for sure at this point.

Also, i'm not a nick hater. I like him. But the fight vs anderson was pretty bad on both sides. he clowned, but he really didn't do much in that fight. Which i think is he, like nate has had in the past as well, has motivation problems with his fights. if he was motivated and took it seriously, i think it would be a great fight, though i think lawler would take it.
i dont like woodley being so entitled to his title shot. he's had fights vs the top 3 sure.
condit blew his knee
hendricks pulled out
Rory owned him.
i dont see the automatic shot after that.

I want to see lawler take the winner of WB/Rory.
