Connor will be fighting a better version of Nate than RDA

I heard he was training for a triathlon prior to receiving the call about the McGregor fight. I think Dana had said that if I'm not mistaken. Looks to be in decent shape to me.

It's not all about being in shape.

Fight camps usually consist of programming that muscle memory for fast twitch reflexes, meaning rote sparring, and it's absolutely necessary to compete at the highest levels.

Regardless of who is fighting who, Conor will have had a full camp and will be peaking physically.

Most of this stuff about Nate being in shape is called selling a fight.

Yeah, I said and noticed that days ago.

The RDA fight was the worst he ever looked.

He looks pretty TST (for Nate's standards) for the McGregor fight.

I think his cardio will be fine.

I'm more concerned about his timing and reflexes, as he alluded to not having sparred in the press conference. If his timing is not on point, he will get pot-shotted silly by Mcg and be whiffing punches.

Let's see if he can hang with Conor in the first two rounds. If he can maybe he can take the fight the distance.

"The skinniest fat guy I've ever seen".

LMFAO. I love Nate, but I also loved it when Conor came up with this one.

Lance Armstrong is fit.
Conor beats the gravy out of that yellow jersey juicer 100 times out of 100!
Triath-fit isn't the same as fight-fit.
What Arm-Barbarian alluded to earlier is dead right. Timing. Technique. Reflexes. These attributes don't improve much with jogging and cycling and swimming.....
(I am a fan of the Diazs for the record)

I don't think Nate's conditioning will be an issue. The issue is which Nate shows up.

He had much better lines. He just called Nate skinny-fat.

Tough to say, not in the same shape he was in against Johnson it doesn't look, but could just be because he isn't dehydrating himself to look a bit more cut

He was injured against RDA and didn't even get to train it seems

If you think he hasn't been sparring, you're wrong.

Nate Diaz never looked so good as he did against Michael Johnson, and that is something more indicative that Conor may face a better version of Diaz in comparison to the one that RDA beat, than that instagram picture.

It seems that anytime someone asks about the conditioning of a Diaz, Triathlon training is mentioned. Seems somewhat contrived at this point.
