That was on one of the PRIDE shows in Vegas so it wasn't under traditional PRIDE rules because they wouldn't allow them. Those PRIDE shows in Vegas were great though.

Interesting i did not know that. Nicks fight was in Vegas too as i have just double checked. Such BS they should give him that win back since weed is pretty much legal everywhere now.
Do you remember when they had Ed Herman go fight Jacare in Strikeforce? That was super weird and so out of character for UFC..

Sorry i'm going off topic but Frank Mir was set to fight Cormier in Strikeforce but got injured UFC was going to allow him to fight there just like Herman. They ended up doing it in UFC.
