Name a fighter that has a lot of popularity but not as much talent

lol at all you noobs saying Nate Diaz. Won his season of TUF. Beat Gomi, Cerrone, and Miller back to back to back. Fourth most submission wins in UFC history. Fifth most strikes landed in UFC history. Y'all just mad because he beat one of your favorite fighters.

lol he won his season because Manny twisted his rib.

he doesn't have any popularity outside of this forum.
Very false statement you have no life outside this forum is where your at. I have spoken about Fedor to many people at work and in irl on many occasions over teh years.

so in other words get a life ya goof!

Hard to have a successful career in the UFC without talent...
But if I had to pick some names, they would mostly be HWs

Mark Hunt
Tai Tuivasa
Black Beast

The exceptions, Jorge Masvidal & Nate Diaz (Nick was better, prime for prime)
Funny thing about Masvidal is that I do think he was elite at one point but by the time he became extremely popular he was shopworn

I think Rosas has MORE talent than popularity TBH. I don't know any Rosas fans but he's got talent.
I'm a Rosas fan -- he used to train at the same gym as me. I also agree -- his whole family has tons of talent.

Nobuhiko Takada
He got to main event 2 Pride events against Rickson fucking Gracie

Currently the best I can think of is Paddy. He has a good chin and is fairly well-rounded, but definitely not going to do well at the top of lightweight with how sloppy and limited he is.

Popularity to quality ratio. He's gonna land a lot of punches with that school boy power.

I just started my journey as an mma fan at the point that I have no ability to see how Diego was a legend. BJ was starting to lose it as well when I started watching. I saw no spark of his greatness live but saw a couple sparks in the archives
