A particular gameplan or technique being used correctly/effectively. Like so..

Jones vs Rampage a great example of linear kicks and attacking the lead leg. Gustafson vs Jones is a decent example of negating it.

Johny vs GSP is a good example of covering up the jab in open stance to negate the lead hand attacks to a bare minimum.

Hunt vs Roy is a good example of feinting the OHR or throwing the OHR in order to set up the uppercut if they dip there head down when going off centerline.

Sherdog?

Aldo chopping down Fabers lead leg.

That shit was brutal.

Randy shooting the low single 15 seconds into the fight vs Toney

Mostly of Demian Maia fights.

gsp vs everyone he decisioned (because they all just played out the same) except for the first bj penn fight and hendricks fight.

Brock Lesnar's infamous barrel role(s).

Also, Nate Diaz's jiujitsu when choked the shit out of Canner.

Brock's strategy of curling into a ball for 4 minutes while Carwin obliterated his forearms and gassed so severely he couldn't produce sweat anymore, allowing Brock to take him down in round 2 and submit him

There was never a doubt

Baddest man on the planet

Brock Lesnar's infamous barrel role(s)..

He was in the process of trying to summon Air Elementals to whoop Cain's ass. Legitimate strategy.

It works sometimes in EA UFC, but hard to pull off

Most of Randy's wins. His gameplan against Tim and Gonzaga were just beautiful.

James Toney's perfect showing on how effective boxing only in MMA is, it was a really great sight to witness!

Vitor breaking out of the clinch and throwing hands on Tre Telligman in UFC 12. Great example of how you can use the clinch to set up openings for strikes if you time the break just right, if you are explosive enough, you can catch your opponent with his defenses down.

Renzo Gracie used some textbook hip heist sweeps in his early Pride fights, against Shoji he landed a few in that fight and the Otsuka fight, watch those in slow motion and you'll see some of the minor things he does to set them up and make them work.

Randy Couture vs Vitor in UFC 15, Couture laid the blue print on how to defeat a dangerous left handed striker, the way he was circling, parrying, and countering. If Ronda wants to defeat Holly Holm she should study the strategy Randy used in that fight.
