It's kind of a pity that technical fights like that don't get the bonus nod over sloppy action fights and showy finishes. But it's entirely understandable. And after all, the bonuses are called "fight of the night" and "performance of the night" — best or most skilled aren't words used in the titles.

It's probably the best (skill-wise) WMMA fight of all time. Best technical fight in all of MMA for 2018? Doubtful.

Kattar vs Burgos was better

For someone who only throwed hands last night, Kattar sure did absorb a lot of jabs with his face and had no answer for leg kicks, pretty disappointing.

just in 223: zhabib's and khabib's fights were better.

Zabit was flashy, ate a lot of punches, and gassed in the 3rd. Khabib's fight was grappling and a jab-fest, not really apples-to-apples comparison as Namajunas vs. Joanna 2 was primarily stand-up.
