I don't think it was the same eye. He got poked in the left eye, and it's his right eye that was closing up.

How is the referee gonna say "I warned you 3 or 4 times about your fingers," and then not deduct a point after the fighter pokes the other guy in the eye.

It should have been a point deducted, I agree but the argument can be made Piotr should have been penalized too because of all the fence grabbing.
