Hey Guys, I dont come around here often anymore, so let me introduce myself for yall who dunno.

I am Twisted&Broken.....you can also call me Jeremy....or....whatever...I dont care, but the point is....well....I dont know what the point is.

Moving right along, my training background is No-Gi BJJ, MMA, Muay Thai and Boxing (plus a cavalcade of TMAs which dont help me out all that much) and Ive been rollin for about three and a half years now.

anyways, I am not a big badass fighter....Im not a big badass grappler either.....Ive had some behind closed doors "boxing matches" and some tuffman fights, but nothing really much to speak of.

I am 5'6, and flux from 140 to 150 lbs, depending on how Im eating and training that week.

Today, a Co-Worker basically challenges me to a fight.

this co-worker is about 4 or 5 years my junior, outweighs me by 60lbs or so, and has a height advantage on me of at least 8 inches.

Ill spare you the details....we always talk shit back and forth to eachother, all in good fun, although I do believe he has always had some underlying aggression towards me....I guess because of my size, and Ive worked there for so long, everyone knows I train.....theyve already asked me questions about my cauli and blah blah blah

Anyway, me being the Gentleman I am, I agree to his challenge.

which took place about three hours ago.

the rules were rather impromptu....we both had mouthpieces....he was allowed to punch and kick and do whatever, except hit me in the nuts, basically, and I could only grapple and throw kicks.

I also had a cup....no other protective gear was worn by either of us.

the place was my Jiujitsu/MMA dojo...I have a key and can get in whenever I want.

there were 6 witnesses to the fight, 2 of which were co-workers, one of which was my boss.

1 of the guys was from my Muay Thai class.

we decided on 5 minute rounds.....the guy from my muay thai class wanted us to do three...but I insisted on five...more time to grapple.

now, Im the first to admit that my wrestling sucks.....I dont have shit for takedowns....

in the first round, I was relentlessly trying to get an inside trip, a single leg...anything I could get....the few times we did end up on the ground, he was on top, punching....he hit me pretty fuckin hard...but no harder than what Ive been hit before.....at the end of the first round, Fernando, the guy from my Muay Thai class, insisted that I put on gloves and hit back...but I said no, I had something to prove.

Second round comes out, I decide to throw a kick...Im a lefty...I throw a left kick to his body, then immediately go for a takedown....I could tell he was sufficiently tired, comparatively.......we crumpled to the ground, with me on bottom....AGAIN.....and him throwin punches...AGAIN!.
I went for an armbar attempt, he had his elbow turned so I couldnt do a straight armbar, I overhooked his arm, and tried to bend it over the side of my hip.....he sorta grimmaced and fell back....I GOT MOUNT BITCHES!

I was really tempted to hit him at this point....but I didnt...that wouldve just been dickish of me.

I framed on his face, and he turned.......Textbook RNC.....I also didnt want to let go when he tapped....but I did....and then I jumped up like Wallid going JOO JIT SOO!

anyway, thats basically it, in a condensed sorta way....I have a black eye, and a scuff on the other side of my head, but I feel fine otherwise, and he isnt injured and I think I got a little respect, and thats all that matters in the end I suppose

next time, I wont throw kicks....I feel like I disgraced the plumber spirit by doing so....even once or twice.

sorry no video....I tried...but it was short notice....I dont own a video camera, and I was unable to contact my cousin by fight time.

good job for stepping up and fighting it out, but sounds like the guy had no sense of balance and sucked.

Oh and go learn to wrestle, the weak smaller fighter trying to get submissions from his guard but not aggressive enough to do so makes jiu jitsu look bad.

Dominant grappler = dominates the clinch and takedowns as well.

he did a pretty good job in the first round of negating my crappy takedowns. and for the record I only made like three sub attempts....most of the time I was just trying to get a top position....he did a reasonable job defending the couple times I did go to sweep him.

I do just fine in the clinch....if we're throwing knees and uppercuts.

youre right, I do need to work on my wrestling, but ya know, I think the fact that I choked him out in 6 or 7 minutes, and the matter of time it took me to go from mount, to backmount and choke was under 2 seconds, proved to everyone that jiujitsu won that day....today, the day after, at work, they were commenting on how fast it was.

I dont think it made jiujitsu look bad at all.

oh, and thanks for the back-handed complement.

To TJS, nah man, he was just big.....he was actually throwing jabs though...which was strange...you dont see many untrained guys set up power shots with jabs, but he did.

All in all, Im not claiming some awesome victory....like I just beat up some pro fighter or something, but the dude was damn sure bigger than me, and he was talkin a lot of shit...and I didnt punch him once, true to my word.

    and, thats all really.
