A little birdie told me Tony vs Diaz while they do Conor vs Khabib
LOL. I don't think the UFC will be paying Nate the $378 million he will want to fight Tony.

Wow. That really isn't bold.. I'm quite impressed. With the UFC booking Moscow for September, and Conor, Tony and Khabib appearing to be training for a fight on social media, its safe to assume some sort of plan is set in motion. My prediction:
- Conor vs Tony in march/april
- Khabib fights winner on Russia card
I know Conor is a huge draw, but Khabib is bigger in Russia and I dont think they would want to risk him losing to Tony/Conor before that card. I think it pulls big numbers regardless of who Khabib fights. Conor would be better for sure, but Tony/Khabib is honestly a coin toss fight IMO and a big risk if the UFC wants Khabib to fight in September too
I could be wrong, but this makes the most sense to me

Yeah but a guy on Sherdog said so ....Lol obv not.
Do you think they'd give Khabib the home advantage as a challenger? If Moscow is booked for September I'd wonder if a Khabib fight is up first (whether Tony or Conor) and then they have Moscow set up for later in the year either for Khabib's first defense or a no. one contender fight against another big name if he doesn't win. With the UFC booking Moscow for September, and Conor, Tony and Khabib appearing to be training for a fight on social media, its safe to assume some sort of plan is set in motion. i think you underestimate the frenzy of khabib fans in russia. the guy gets stopped whereever he goes and thats here in america. have you seen the embedded videos of him training? dude gets stopped even while running at the park here in california. im sure in russia he has a strong following possibly even outside of mma considering his dad is a big deal there.Don't understand why people think Khabib is big in Russia, based on what information? Just the UFC saying so?
It's like when Americans say Bisping is a big star in the UK or even better Darren Till. No one has any idea who he is. Neither man is a celebrity here. People who know UFC and watch the sport know them, but they are nobodies away from a hard-core fan base.
I expect it's the same for Khabib in Russia. Any event they put on in Russia will sell out instantly, because it's the UFC coming to their country for the first time, not because of Khabib.
A card headlined by Louis Smolka and Paddy Hoolahan sold out in the UK. Do you think it was because the Hooligan is a big time celebrity here?
also if you notice on social media anyone who signs up to fight khabib or has some sort of beef with the guy gets bombarded with messages in russian on all their social media posts. im sure that its more than just a select few russian fans.Don't understand why people think Khabib is big in Russia, based on what information?
