Nate Diaz. that was as close to a televisual orgasm that i've ever had last night. can't say enough about that performance. heart, chin, skill, he showed it all. and total poetic justice that it ended with mcgregor actually going for a takedown. all is right in the world today.

that was one of the best fights i've ever seen on top of it. back and forth, neither guy backing down in the slightest. mad respect to both guys. i've been in the conor hater camp but you have to give credit to a guy who goes out on his shield. and diaz was so on, i don't think I've ever seen him move that fast, his reflexes were great, he was totally in the zone. a performance for the ages.

hopefully now the idiots will crawl back under their rocks and things will die down with the mcgregor silliness. they've been so wacky that I kind of have my doubts, but i do think it will happen - most of these guys only want to cheer a front-runner and are going to abandon ship now that he's not 'invincible' anymore.

i also think that conor himself will start to tone down the act a little more, now that the mystique is shattered. if all of the above happens, it will be easier to watch his fights from now on and just focus on his skills.
